Festival notes from editor emeritus

The Gateway Dulcimer Club held its 25th annual dulcimer festival from August 3-5, 2023, at the Fairview Heights Marriott in Fairview Heights, Ill.

Participants stayed in the hotel, and workshops and evening concerts were held in the conference center.

Instructors included Mike Anderson, Katie Moritz, Debbie Porter, Butch Ross, Dave Stanley, Rick Thum, Susan Trump, and Charles Whitmer.
